English Pastor/Minister

The English Pastor (ordained) or Minister (un-ordained) must love God and have a pastoral heart to reach and equip the congregation to deepen their relationship with Christ. The candidate must have a calling to shepherd the flock, a spiritual gift to preach the Word of God, a heart for the lost, and a passion to make disciples amongst families, career adults, and youth along with the diverse communities in which we live and serve. The candidate will also provide a vision and develop strategies for the overall youth ministry at CBC. The vision of youth ministry is to spread the gospel to the young generation.

Responsibilities includes:
1. Strengthen English ministry which includes worship, discipleship and outreach, under the supervision of the senior pastor
2. Plan and lead Sunday service and youth programs including small groups
3. Provide disciple training and spiritual guidance for family and young adults
4. Establish relationships with youth and their families in conjunction with the care team
5. Participate in regular meetings with the church leadership
6. Reach out to young generation to come to Christ

1. Be a born-again believer with a maturing relationship with Christ
2. Demonstrate characteristics of humility, submissiveness, leadership, and a joyful heart
3. Affirms and agrees with the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 Agrees and adheres to the CBC Constitution and Statement of Faith
4. Clear calling and passion for English and Youth English Ministry
5. Servant-hearted and passionate about bringing young people to Christ
6. Have a clear vision of evangelism for next generation
7. Prefer to have a bachelor’s degree from either an accredited evangelical seminary or accredited Bible college
8. Ability to communicate and work well with team members
9. Applicants must be qualified for legal work in the USA.
10. Show a faithful pursuit of leadership characteristics as listed in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1.
11. Have a full-time calling to ministry and clear vision
12. Able to demonstrate a systematic understanding of the Bible.
