Children’s Ministry Director

Full-time

 Unify the Children’s Ministry programming, co-workers and set clear direction.
 Oversee all programming, curriculum, and volunteers related to the Children’s Ministry.
 Train, recruit, and encourage teachers and volunteers in the Children’s Ministry.
 Provide training and resources for parents to minister to their children.
 Promote an environment that encourages the spiritual growth of children and is inclusive of children with special needs.
 Communicate the needs and activity of the Children’s Ministry across different congregations
 Implement child safety policies.
 Other responsibilities as needed.
 Ability to plan, organize, and oversee all Sunday children’s programming, Friday night activities, and special events throughout the year.

 Four-year degree from a recognized college or university
 3-5 years of prior children’s ministry experience
 Experience working with children, and an understanding of basic child development.
 Ability to communicate, in written and oral expression, with different groups and individuals. Ability to communicate in Mandarin helpful.
 Understanding Chinese culture is preferred.
 Have experience working with children with special needs.
