ACC-SW Campus English Minister

Austin Chinese Church Southwest Sunday Worship Site (ACC-SW) currently has about 140 people in regular Sunday attendance (80 Chinese-speaking adults, 20 English-speaking adults, 20 youth, 20 children). With the anticipated growth of population in southwest Austin in the next few years, our vision is for ACC-SW to grow to have more Chinese-speaking and English-speaking people. Currently, the Chinese team is relatively stronger, and is more on track in outreach and strengthening the existing group. A full-time minister who grew up in the US is needed to assist in shepherding the English Ministry, Youth Ministry, Children’s Ministry and enabling growth in those specific areas.

The ACC-SW English Minister is to work under the guidance of ACC-SW’s Satellite Campus Pastor and the main responsibility is expected to be in providing pastoral care and leadership to people in our SW English Ministry, SW Youth Ministry, and SW Children’s Ministry, and enabling growth in those areas.

Master’s degree or above from an accredited Seminary
Agree with ACC's Statement of Faith
Two Years of leadership experience in ministry
Experience in serving English-speaking adults, youth, and children
Gifted in teaching and preaching, experience in small groups and discipleship
Work well in team environment
