HR Assistant Position Summary
As the central point for administering employee benefits and maintaining HR records, the HR Assistant ensures smooth and efficient HR operations, contributing to a work environment that nurtures both professional and spiritual growth. Given the significance of this role, the HR Assistant must be spiritually mature, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the seminary’s mission in all aspects of HR administration.
職責Responsibilities:
Administrative duties:
- Assist in processing HR-related documents in compliance with state and federal laws.
- Support the review and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the seminary’s mission and compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Manage and process various employee benefits, including medical, vision and dental insurance, 401(k), workers’ compensation, leaves, employee tuition benefits, and more.
- Advise and update employees on HR regulations, policies, actions, and available resources.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the administration.
資格Qualifications:
- Education:
- BA or higher degree with a major in Business or a relevant HR discipline preferred.
- A degree in Bible and Theology is a plus.
- Experience:
- 3 or more years of broad HR experience with a proven track record as an HR assistant or in a relevant human resources/administrative position.
- 1 or more years in ministry leadership experience in a local church.
- Skill:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin: reading, speaking, and writing.
