Evangelical Formosan Church of Chicago (EFCC) is a multi-generational church where most members were from Taiwan. The main languages are Taiwanese, Mandarin, and English. Our church emphasizes gospel-centered preaching, evangelism to the community, and discipleship through the study of God’s Word. The Young Adult Ministry (YAM) Director will be responsible for shepherding and leading YAM to grow steadily.

Young Adult Ministry Director (Part-Time) 青年事工兼職主任

Part-time

1. Weekly preaching gospel-centered sermons at YAM Service.
2. Providing spiritual guidance and ensuring all teachings and activities are biblically sound.
3. Providing care and coordinating with YAM co-workers for God-glorifying meetings/events.
4. To be present and available to help at all YAM and church-wide gatherings/events.
5. Offering counseling, visitations, support in times of need.
6. Supporting Church Council to follow church’s spiritual direction and long-term planning.

1. 每週主日在青年崇拜宣講以福音為中心的信息。
2. 提供屬靈上的指導並確保所有的教導和活動都符合聖經。
3. 提供關懷及協調青年同工舉辦能榮耀神的會議和活動。
4. 出席所有青年事工和全教會舉辦的聚會和活動並提供幫助。
5. 在青年家庭有需要時，提供諮詢、探訪和支持。
6. 支持及遵循「長執會」所決定的教會屬靈方向和長期規劃。

1. Prefer a graduate from an accredited seminary with Masters of Divinity or equivalent.
2. Experience in cross-cultural ministry or Asian-American ministry is preferred.
3. Preach in English or Mandarin fluently. Can communicate in English and Mandarin.
4. Coachable, adaptable and resilient when confronted with barriers and setbacks.
5. A caring heart for others and approachable by church members and visitors.
6. Demonstrated commitment to continuous ministry growth.
7. The spouse shares God’s call to shepherd YAM together.
8. Good reputation within and outside of the church.

1. 最好是畢業於認可的神學院並擁有神學碩士或同等學歷的畢業生。
2. 有跨文化事工或亞裔事工經驗者優先。
3. 能用英語或華語流利講道，能以英語及國語與會友交流。
4. 面對障礙和挫折時，具有接受指導、適應能力強和堅韌不拔的精神。
5. 有一顆關愛他人的心，能與會友和訪客親近。
6. 展現對青年事工持續成長的承諾。
7. 配偶也有感受到神的呼召，願意和主任一同牧養青年事工。
8. 在教會內外有良好的聲譽。
