Children's Ministry Director

Full-time

• To provide sound, biblically-based preaching and teaching with a passion for God through spiritual and administrative leadership of the children ministry
• To lead, direct and supervise Sunday kids worship, Sunday school, events, and other programs
• To lead the children in sharing Christ’s love and the Gospel to our surrounding communities
• To effectively share ministry goals and communicate with the Chinese Ministry staff, pastoral staff and leaders
• Live by example, to shepherd, lead and equip the children ministry volunteers and kids to follow the GCCI mission statements
• Working with the English Ministry, plan for kids worship, train and schedule volunteers to teach Sunday school, assist or direct AWANA on Friday nights.
• Plan meetings and trainings for parents and church co-workers
• Train the older elementary school kids to take leadership roles such as worship leader or TA in classes
• Help connect our church to the local community of churches and Christian organizations.

• Minimum of 2 years ministry experiences in children's, youth, EM or any education ministry
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Desire to raise disciples and build leaders within the community
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• U.S. Citizenship or valid legal status
