Background

James Tsai joined LOGOS Evangelical Seminary in July 2021 as Director of Finance and Administration, overseeing Financial Operations, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Facilities. He also serves as a board member of the LOGOS Evangelical Seminary Foundation.

After a successful entrepreneurial career leading a software product company, James sensed God’s call to full-time ministry. With more than 15 years of experience in enterprise consulting and research and development, he brings his professional expertise to strengthen resource management, improve operational processes, advance digital transformation, and modernize technology in support of the Seminary’s mission.

James accepted Christ at age 15 and has a passion for seeing young people transformed for God’s glory. Before moving to Los Angeles, he served for more than 12 years as a campus ministry leader and mentor at Columbus Chinese Christian Church in Ohio. The vision of LOGOS to equip and develop leaders for God’s kingdom further confirmed his calling to ministry.

James earned his M.Div. from LOGOS Evangelical Seminary in 2022. He and his wife, Deborah, have two children. He enjoys traveling, coffee, and spending time with his family.
