Are you passionate about bringing the gospel to children? We want to hear
from you.
The First Evangelical Church in Glendale (FECG) is seeking a creative and
energetic Children’s Minister to join our pastoral team. The Children’s Minister will
provide leadership, vision, and oversight for our ministry to children from birth
through 5th grade and support for their parents. Our goal is to create a safe,
joyful, and biblically-committed environment where children will encounter the
love of Jesus Christ and develop a foundation for faith.
FECG is committed to reaching and welcoming new families to our church, and
this role carries strategic importance. We have a current population of about 20
children, but have budgeted for a full-time Children’s minister to develop and
expand the ministry. The Children’s Minister will be asked to engage the children
of the community and of our members. To that end, the Children’s Minister will
build volunteer teams, partner with parents, and help position the church as a
welcoming place for families to flourish.
