POSITION
CCGN is seeking a part-time English Ministry Pastor to lead our English-language congregation and youth ministry. This is a pastoral leadership opportunity for someone who wants to build a ministry, serve Chinese-American families and their next generation, and engage the broader Great Neck community.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and preach in the Sunday English worship service.
• Build and lead the youth and young adult ministry.
• Provide pastoral care to the English congregation and their families.
• Develop small groups, Sunday school, and discipleship pathways.
• Engage the broader Great Neck community through outreach and relationship-building.
• Serve as a bridge between the English and Chinese-speaking congregations.
• Collaborate with the pastoral team and E&D Board on church-wide vision.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
• Seminary degree with a minimum of 72 credit hours; ordained or pursuing ordination.
• Minimum three years of full-time church ministry experience.
• Fluency in English; Chinese bilingual ability strongly preferred (Mandarin and/or Cantonese).
• A genuine calling and clear personal testimony of faith in Jesus Christ.
• A heart for youth and families.

• A humble, caring, and collaborative approach to ministry.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred:
• Experience in a Chinese-heritage or Asian-American church context.
• Cultural understanding of first-generation immigrant families and their English-speaking children.
• Experience building or revitalizing a youth or young adult ministry.
• Familiarity with the OCMA network and Chinese evangelical community.
COMPENSATION
This is a part-time position with an opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the ministry grows. Compensation will be determined by the E&D Board and will be commensurate with experience.
