OUR PURPOSE
Purpose of the Program
Equipping lay ministry coworkers and developing ministry teams are essential to the growth and vitality of the church. LOGOS Evangelical Seminary desires to share the theological education resources God has graciously entrusted to us through the Logos Training Institute (LTI), helping partner churches develop spiritually mature, capable, and enthusiastic ministry teams. This training initiative applies to LTI’s in-person courses, live online classes, and online courses. LOGOS partner churches around the world can benefit from quality, affordable training through flexible learning options that combine the strengths of group learning with convenient access.
01Learn together and build ministry teams through shared growth.
02Choose flexibly among in-person, live online, and online courses.
03Make quality theological training more accessible to local churches.
HOW IT WORKS
How the Program Works
Depending on the size of their teams and learning schedules, churches may organize a complete discipleship training class or enroll together in existing LTI courses as a small group.
A
Online Video Instruction
12-Person Discipleship Class
By completing five courses per year, participants can earn the Lay Ministry Program certificate within three years.
- To support effective group learning, the initial class must have at least 12 participants; subsequent classes require at least 8 participants each. The applying partner church must appoint a coworker to coordinate administrative communications and group registration.
- The new-student registration fee is US$25 per person, and tuition is US$50 per credit (compared with the current LTI in-person course rate of US$70 per credit).
- Partner churches should submit their application to LTI at least one month in advance and ensure that the group registration form and tuition check reach the LTI office at least one week before the scheduled course start date.
- LTI will provide online video course login credentials to the partner church’s designated coworker three days before classes begin.
- Participating churches are encouraged to appoint an experienced mentor or pastor to oversee learning, integrating pastoral care and team building into the group learning experience.
