About the Library
The LOGOS Evangelical Seminary Library serves as an essential academic resource center for the Seminary’s teaching, research, and ministry. Beginning with a collection of approximately 200 Chinese-language volumes, the Library has continued to expand alongside the growth of the Seminary. Over more than three decades, it has developed a diverse academic collection that includes Chinese- and English-language print materials, electronic resources, scholarly journals, and research databases. The Library also continues to strengthen interlibrary cooperation and connections to global academic resources in support of teaching and research.
Our Mission
As an integral part of LOGOS Evangelical Seminary, the Library supports the Seminary’s mission of forming servants for God’s Kingdom and transforming the global Church by providing access to theological knowledge and resources. Through the acquisition, organization, preservation, interpretation, and delivery of theological information, the Library seeks to meet the research, educational, and ministry needs of the Seminary community and those it serves.

Library Collections
Through more than three decades of continued development, the Library’s physical collection has grown to nearly 70,000 Chinese- and English-language volumes and continues to expand each year. The collection includes approximately 28,000 Chinese-language volumes, making it one of the most substantial Chinese theological collections in North America, as well as more than 42,000 English-language volumes covering biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, missions, education, counseling, spiritual formation, and interdisciplinary research.
The Library also maintains more than 500 Chinese- and English-language journal titles, including current periodicals and extensive back issues. Additional holdings include audiovisual materials, educational resources, multiple editions of the Bible, hymnals, Sunday school materials, recordings, newsletters, commemorative publications, and other special collections that support teaching and research.

Expanding Our Digital Academic Collection
The Library began subscribing to electronic databases more than two decades ago and has significantly expanded its digital collections in recent years. Today, the Library provides access to more than 175,000 eBooks, along with a growing range of Chinese-language databases and digital resources. These collections include scholarly journals, dissertations, indexes, abstracts, and full-text academic resources that support research from both on campus and around the world.
