Strengthening Families Passing on the Faith Intergenerational Growth
Three Strategies

Three Core Strategies

From equipping churches and strengthening parents to fostering intergenerational faith formation, the Christian Family Resource Center seeks to address the real challenges Chinese immigrant families face in faith, culture, and generational continuity.

01

Family Ministry Training

EQUIPPING CHURCHES

The Center provides customized family ministry training for Chinese immigrant churches. An experienced trainer, serving as the program leader, works closely with church leaders to develop a ministry plan tailored to the needs of each participating congregation, whether establishing a new family ministry or strengthening an existing one.

02

Parenting Seminars

IN PERSON & ONLINE

The Center offers a series of Christian parenting seminars designed to help parents apply biblical principles and Christian values in everyday family life and in the raising of their children.

03

Intergenerational Family Retreats

FAITH ACROSS GENERATIONS

The Center addresses the challenges Asian immigrant families encounter in passing on the Christian faith. Immigrant Chinese parents and U.S.-born Chinese children often face both cultural and language differences when discussing Christian values and faith. Through interactive workshops, reading groups, and family retreats, the Center encourages meaningful two-way conversations between parents and children on faith and daily life, including sexuality, conflict resolution, peer pressure, and relationships.
