Offered jointly by the LOGOS Training Institute and Kairos International Media Association, this course introduces AI tools from the ground up and equips participants to use them effectively in ministry, bringing new possibilities and practical support to their service.

LOGOS Training Institute | Winter 2025 Courses

Registration Information:

  • Tuition: USD $80 per credit (effective January 15, 2024).
  • Early Bird Discount: Save $10 per credit when registering at least one month before the course begins. Not available to those receiving other eligibility-based discounts.
  • Late Fee: A $20 late fee applies to registrations made on or after the course start date. New students are exempt from the late fee.
  • Withdrawal: A $10 processing fee applies to withdrawals for personal reasons. Refunds are not available after the first class (or after the third hour of an intensive course). For asynchronous courses, the $30 online administrative fee is non-refundable once the course has begun.
  • Eligibility Discounts: Full-time pastors and their spouses, North American LOGOS alumni (including master’s, doctoral, and LTI graduates), full-time LOGOS students and staff in North America, and full-time staff of Evangelical Formosan churches and organizations worldwide may receive 50% off tuition by selecting the appropriate eligibility discount. Spouses attending together may receive 50% off tuition.
  • New Student Registration Fee: Students who have never previously registered for a credit-bearing course at LOGOS Training Institute must pay a one-time $25 registration fee. New students are exempt from the late fee.
  • Discount Policy: Discounts cannot be combined. Students receiving an eligibility discount are not eligible for the Early Bird Discount.
  • Payment: All fees are charged in U.S. dollars.

The Living Out “Life Planning” course is designed for everyone and offers an important opportunity for personal growth. The course focuses on setting healthy life priorities and building healthy emotional and relational lives. Through interactive games, activities, and real-life case studies, students explore personal and social identity through biblical principles and are encouraged to live with greater purpose and vitality.

Instructor:
Dr. Yen-Wai Yin Yeh, founder of Living Out, holds a Ph.D. in Cross-Cultural Clinical Psychology and is a licensed marriage and family therapist in California. She has extensive experience in youth development, family education, and multicultural ministry. She designs courses in life planning and parent-child communication and equips churches, families, and communities through creative and systematic approaches to faith-based development.

Course Description:
Professors Ai-Kuang Chen and Shirley Lei introduce the major themes of Christian systematic theology, establishing a sound theological foundation and equipping students to live out an authentic, Christ-centered faith.

Instructor: Rev. Ai-Kuang Chen
After completing his undergraduate studies, Rev. Chen pursued theological training at Dallas Theological Seminary and later earned a Ph.D. in Christian Philosophy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He joined LOGOS in 1999 and continues to serve as Associate Professor of Systematic Theology. He also serves as Director of the M.Div. and Master of Christian Studies programs.

Course Description:
Rev. Kuo-Liang Lin teaches biblical principles for marriage and family, incorporating practical examples to help Christians build strong, Christ-centered families grounded in God’s Word.

Instructor: Rev. Kuo-Liang Lin
Professor of Family Ministry at LOGOS Evangelical Seminary, Dr. Lin holds a Ph.D. in Family Studies from Purdue University. With 30 years of experience in marriage and family ministry, he is the only Chinese grandfather-level FOCCUS trainer.

Course Description:
This course explores the interpretation, theological messages, and significance of the five Minor Prophets within the Old Testament.

Instructor: Dr. Ting Hsieh
Dr. Hsieh earned his Ph.D. in Old Testament from Fuller Theological Seminary. Since 2004, he has taught Hebrew and Old Testament at LOGOS Evangelical Seminary. He also teaches internationally and leads Bible seminars worldwide.

Course Description:
Rev. Li-Te Fu draws on psychology and evangelical theology to establish a solid foundation for counseling ministry among believers and church ministry leaders.

Instructor: Rev. Li-Te Fu
Rev. Fu holds a Ph.D. in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Purdue University. He has served as a pastor at Truth Lutheran Church in Taiwan and with the Chinese Christian Pastors Training Association, and has taught at several seminaries.

Dr. Yi-Chen Peng equips ministry leaders seeking to strengthen their spiritual teaching through innovative approaches that help build a strong foundation of faith in others.

Instructor: Dr. Yi-Chen Peng
Dr. Peng earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine, an M.Div. from LOGOS Evangelical Seminary in Taiwan, and an Ed.D. from Talbot School of Theology at Biola University. She has served in missions, church ministry, and Christian organizations and is currently engaged in theological education at LOGOS Evangelical Seminary.
