LOGOS Evangelical Seminary’s Chicago campus has offered master’s degree programs since 2009, serving believers, ministry leaders, and pastors seeking theological training. The campus also offers weekend intensive Christian formation courses.
The M.A.C.S. received ATS accreditation in 2012 and can be completed entirely at the Chicago campus. Approximately half of the coursework for the M.Div., M.A.F.M., and M.A.I.C.S. can be completed on site, with remaining courses available through synchronous and online instruction from the Los Angeles campus.
Conveniently located near O’Hare International Airport, the campus serves students throughout the greater Chicago area and the Midwest.

Discovering Your True Self Through Scripture (2 Credits)
This Bible-based course helps students reflect on their lives, deepen their relationship with God, affirm their core identity, and rediscover their true life in Christ. Students will also learn a conceptual framework for pastoral counseling rooted in Christian faith.
Instructor:
Rev. Kai Chang, Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program. His areas of study include holistic Christian health, healthy churches, pastoral counseling, inner healing, and spiritual formation. He teaches courses including Introduction to D.Min. Research and Holistic Pastoral Ministry.
Format:
In-person with synchronous online participation available.

Talking with Chen Ying: Walking Through Anxiety and Depression (2 Credits)
Course Description:
This course explores anxiety and depression from a biblical perspective and considers practical ways to respond to stress, challenges, and emotional struggles. Participants will learn how faith and biblical principles can help us move through anxiety and depression and pursue a life of spiritual growth.
Instructor:
Angelique Chen, Ph.D., holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College. She is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois and currently provides clinical psychological services at a veterans’ hospital in the Chicago area.

Crisis Care and Counseling (2 Credits)
Course Description:
Crisis and trauma are unavoidable parts of human experience. This course helps pastors and Christians understand the nature and impact of crisis and trauma while providing practical principles and approaches for prevention and care. Topics include stress, depression, domestic violence, marital crisis, loss, and conflict, with case studies and discussion.
Instructor:
Rev. Ren-Chin Liu, D.Min., Academic Dean at LOGOS Evangelical Seminary. He has received professional training in crisis intervention, clinical pastoral care, hospice care, disaster response, and marriage and family counseling. He has also served in theological education and as a counseling and training director.
